I stumbled upon this traditional Croatian restaurant completely by chance and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the turkey schnitzel and knedle, and both were absolutely incredible and delicious. The restaurant just opened, and they didn't have an English menu yet. But the lady serving my table was extremely kind! She explained every item in detail and was super helpful the whole time. Highly recommend giving them a try!

This gem was just around the corner from my Airbnb, and when I saw locals lining up, I decided to take a chance. Apparently they just opened, and I’m so glad I did. The young woman at the front was incredibly sweet and helpful—she took the time to make thoughtful recommendations that balanced my desire to try local cuisine with my dietary restrictions. The pasta (even the gnocchi) and bread are homemade, and absolutely delicious. I learned that they have their own farm and the eggs from their chickens are used for the pasta! I just loved this place!

Fantastic food. Everything really is homemade and on a high standard. The only problem was I didn't know what to order since I wanted to eat everything from the menu

We arrived at 11:30am and it was quiet, but within ten minutes it was full of locals and takeaway orders, which is always a good sign. They’ve recently added an English menu which made things much easier, and the girl serving us was so friendly and helpful. We had the small portions of the local sausage and the chicken with gnocchi and both were delicious. A really lovely, authentic little spot to try while visiting!

You must come here if you're looking for Croation food!! They make/bake everything in house. The beef/pork/vegetable stew was so hearty and flavorful. The blood sausages with sauerkraut were also amazing. The elderflower drink was incredible. We've been traveling around Europe for a few months and can confidently say this is the best and kindest service we have received especially the lady with the blonde hair. So nice!!! We've even eaten at a Michelin star restaurant and my boyfriend wants me to let anyone reading this know that he thinks the food here at GALERIJA blows it out of the water. Their prices are also very very good. The only think I might recommend is to have maybe a little warmer lighting the pink theme is soo adorable.

I loved this place enough to write my second ever google review. The plate of sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes was incredible. Probably the best sauerkraut I have ever had. The sausage was also incredibly good. The bean soup was also excellent. Prices were super fair, ambience was very relaxed, and the food was fantastic. I would go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in Zagreb.
